BCS Rankings in Review

With only four Saturdays left in the 2007 college football season we can now look at the BCS Standings and try to make some sense of it. While I will always maintain that the current BCS formula is a mess I do believe that no one is a shoe in and there are seven teams who have a legitimate chance of playing in New Orleans. 1. Ohio State (.9900) – The Buckeyes should be in the driver’s seat. They only have two games remaining on their regular season schedule and won’t have to play a conference championship game. If OSU avoids a possible trap game this weekend against Illinois and then survives a trip to the Big House then they would have earned the right to play for the BCS Championship.
