College Football Week Four Preview

Thank goodness for Thursday night football. While most of the games are dog ugly it wets our appetite again after a two day football absence following Monday night. Tonight’s game, Texas A&M at Miami, is worth watching because there is a good chance that the Aggies could be “upset” in South Florida by a Miami team who won’t be as good as they’ll be labeled if they do win. Here are two good reasons to watch tonight. Miami is horrible on offense and the Aggies stink on defense. The Hurricanes are good on defense and the Aggies are good on offense. Combine those two with a short preparation week and you have the makings of a very interesting game!

Here are a few other things to keep an eye on this weekend!

Game of the Week: Kentucky at Arkansas – Two very good offenses and two very mediocre defenses will definitely make this a game worth watching!

Everyone knows the hype surrounding Darren McFadden as one of the best running backs in the country and he has lived up to every bit of it by averaging 173 yards rushing and scoring 3 touchdowns in two games. However Kentucky quarterback Andre' Woodson has been flying under the radar as possibly the best quarterback in the country. In the first three games of the season he has passed for an average of 247.7 yards per game while also tossing 9 touchdowns to 0 interceptions.

Here are the most telling stats though. The Razorbacks and Wildcats are giving up 413 and 374 yards per game respectively. Should be fun!
